How do I make my tattoo look better?

I wonder what is the thing I need to do in order to make my tattoos look shiny. Like I've seen people in magazines and their tattoo look shiny but their tattoos are usually not shiny.

I want my tattoos to looks like this.

So I can just put some oil in my skin in summer ant my tats are going to look shiny? Or will the sun affect my tattoos?

    All he has is baby oil on his skin it is a common when doing photo shoots to use oil to make tattoo work stand out. Sure you can put oil on you tattoo in the summer and it will look like that. It will also cause you to burn and your tattoo to fade. you should only put lotion and sunscreen on your tattoo. if you want it to look shiny in photo's than go ahead and use the oil than but not for any other reason or at any other time cause you will ruin your tattoo.
