getting a tattoo is more like buying stuff, you pay for what you get. High quality tattoo that is done by well known artist always cost more. you can expect up to $200 per hour. and yet how much you can endure the pain then determine how long it would take for them to do it on you. But i’m told some of the horimono can take up to several years. It’s alot of details cause it’s not outline only but shading as well. hope it helps
i have both arms, my chest and back all covered. irezumi of course..it all took about 3 years and thousands of dollars..lots of pain as well. its something that gets out of control quik. dont think of the amount, but the work.
Hey, could you send me the picture at 1:51. my brother is designing me a kirin to be tattoed on my back and that was was absolutely breathtaking. It would be a nice reference for him when he does mine.
The things that look like demons are generally wrathful deities called Tengu according to Buddhist/Shinto traditions and Japanese lore. But off the top of my head, there were some buddhas, and figures from various folklore as well.
0:27 Oni,(Woman demon) there are also Kappa, (with a dish on top of the headWhere they kept their power in water, the trick was to make them Bow!) Tengu crow demons, some crow like some with a red face and a long nose the longer the nose the greater their power, they were superb at sword, (the ninja were said to come from Tengu.
